Photography | the dead things

I used to process film and print for a known and long-time printer in the West End of London at various times during the 1990s. He reckoned himself as an 'Artist Photographer' and to be fair, I did (do) like much of his work. I used to take the mick' a bit over his love of just shooting random stuff he would come across during the course of a day out with his camera. He would get exited about illuminated dust through a sunbeam. I was like "whatever man".  Little did I know that in time I would be doing the exact same thing.

I spent an afternoon in the Horniman Museum looking at Dead Things just to get something out of my system.

Didn't work and some of the exhibit pieces and myself just had a laugh together over it.

Our experiences great, small, magical or unremarkable shape our perception and how we see the world through our mental and spiritual viewfinders (shit that was deep).
